In response to urgent humanitarian needs, SEMA’s Protection teams carried out an emergency intervention for displaced families from the Ashrafieh and Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhoods of Aleppo, who are currently residing in Qatma village in rural Afrin.

The response included the distribution of winter blankets to help families cope with cold weather and the harsh conditions of displacement. In parallel, SEMA provided Psychological First Aid (PFA) services for adults, along with referrals to specialized and non-specialized support services to promote mental well-being and strengthen coping capacities among affected individuals.
