Responding to Urgent Needs and Restoring Dignity
SEMA’s Relief Program supports families and communities affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, and humanitarian emergencies. We provide timely food and non-food assistance while responding rapidly to disasters and sudden crises. Our relief interventions are designed to meet essential needs, reduce hardship, and help vulnerable families preserve their dignity and strengthen their ability to cope with difficult living conditions.
Essential Assistance When Families Need It Most
Through its Relief Program, SEMA implements emergency and seasonal projects that address the most urgent needs of vulnerable families. Our assistance includes food, hygiene supplies, winter support, seasonal distributions, and rapid response during disasters and public health emergencies.
SEMA responds to humanitarian emergencies and natural disasters by delivering urgent assistance to affected families, including essential supplies that help them meet their immediate needs and recover from crisis.
We distribute food baskets containing essential staples such as rice, sugar, canned goods, and other basic items that support household food security. We also provide hygiene and personal care kits during emergencies and disease outbreaks.
During the cold winter months, SEMA supports vulnerable and displaced families with heating fuel, heaters, blankets, winter clothing, and other essential items that help protect them from severe weather conditions.
Our Eid projects bring happiness to vulnerable children through the distribution of new clothing, gifts, and recreational activities, enabling them to celebrate Eid with dignity and joy alongside their peers.
During the Eid Al-Adha season, SEMA purchases, prepares, and distributes fresh or cooked Qurbani meat to families facing food insecurity, promoting compassion, solidarity, and shared celebration.
